• In the Extended Edition (available on both laserdisc and Anchor Bay's "Ultimate Edition"), the music that is heard when Peter and Stephen are closing the gates of the mall in an effort to keep the bikers out is taken directly from the opening credits of Monty Python and the Holy Grail (1975).

• On disk 4 (Document of the Dead) of Anchor Bay's "Ultimate Edition" DVD set, there is a hidden menu (shape of one of corpse on screen) item which can only be selected after seeing all items.

"These are not ghosts. Nor are these humans! These are dead corpses!"

Thankfully, there is no such thing as a goof-free movie.



Here are a few of the ones I captured purely for your surfing enjoyment.


Picture #1 is of Tom Savini "bouncing" off of Roger's truck. The trampoline he uses is visible. In picture #2
you can see the blood tube going up the zombies pant leg. In picture #3 you can see the blood tube after
the zombie bites Stephen's leg in the elevator. In picture #4 you can see a cameraman in the lower, left
hand side of the shot. In Picture #5 you can see a crew member reflected off the glass. In pictures #6 and
#7 you can see zombies surrounding a car, a few seconds later the car explodes and the zombies have
disappeared. Picture #8 is a shot of the sky after the helicopter takes off. Stephen told Fran to meet him at
9:00 and the clock says 6:00. In Pictures #9 and #10 you see a female zombie being dragged, but in shot
#10 the stuntman's moustache is visible. In pictures #11 and #12 you see Roger remove his gas mask
twice. In pictures #13 and #14 you see the keys to the department store after they've been thrown to the
ground, and then mysteriously wind up back in the door. In pictures #15 and #16 Stephen and Peter are
supposed to be side by side locking the doors and yet the same zombie is visible in both shots. In pictures
#17 and #18 you briefly see a van pass by. In pictures #19 and #20 a woman who is obviously not meant
to be in the shot scurries away.
